Body Dysmorphia Test Online

Are you excessively worried about certain aspects of your appearance, or do you feel that something is wrong with your body even though others can't see it? Our body-dysmorphia test can help you gain clarity about possible symptoms.

Typical signs of body dysmorphia can include:

  • excessive preoccupation with perceived physical flaws,
  • frequent mirror-checking or, conversely, avoidance of mirrors,
  • strong avoidance of social situations due to shame about one's own appearance.

With this test you can reflect on how strongly body dysmorphia is influencing your life. Please note that this test does not replace a professional diagnosis.

This online screening is not a diagnostic tool. Only a trained medical professional — such as a doctor, psychiatrist or psychotherapist — can advise you on the next steps.
