Midlife Crisis Test Online

Are you in a midlife crisis? With this test you can recognise initial signs and better understand what this phase of life means for you.

Common questions in this phase:

  • Is this all that life has to offer?
  • Have I made the right decisions in my life?
  • What is the meaning and purpose of my life?
  • What do I want to do differently in the second half of my life?
  • Have I achieved the dreams and goals I set in my youth?

Use this test to get a first overview of your situation. Please note that this test does not replace a professional diagnosis.

Midlife Crisis Test Test: 15 Questions

All questions refer to the last 14 days. The answer options are scaled like a grading system — the first option counts as one point, the last as five. Choose one answer per question and click Evaluate Now at the end.

1. Do you often feel lonely even in company?

2. Do you find your current work unfulfilling?

3. Does your daily life feel very monotonous?

4. Do you wish to experience something completely new?

5. Do you often ask yourself whether life has more to offer?

6. Do you doubt decisions from your past?

7. Are you increasingly seeking deeper meaning in life?

8. Do you often think your best years might be behind you?

9. Do you doubt the life goals you once set?

10. Do you sometimes wonder who you really are?

11. Do you find it hard to enjoy your free time?

12. Do you feel your feelings for your partner have faded?

13. Do you lack motivation in your everyday life?

14. Do you feel hemmed in by daily routines and obligations?

15. Do you frequently think about ending your relationship or your job?

This online screening is not a diagnostic tool. Only a trained medical professional — such as a doctor, psychiatrist or psychotherapist — can advise you on the next steps.
